GUIDE TO - Radiant, Glowing Skin

Skincare

The first step to radiant skin is the right skincare. Before any makeup, you must prep your skin and make it look as healthy as possible. Although my skincare routine is not complicated, I still take all the essential steps to keep my skin clean and looking healthy.

One step I try to take every few days or so is a face mask. An important step in any skincare routine. The "Don't look at me" face mask from Lush specialises in adding radiance. With ingredients such as lemon juice and Tunisian neroli oil to tone and brighten your complexion - it definitely makes your skin look brighter and feel softer.

The next step to radiance is toning. La Roche-Posay Serozinc spray is a toner that aims to fight spots and acne prone skin. However, I find it also helps to make your skin feel fresher and healthier. Maybe not a necessary step for glowing skin but for me it definitely makes a difference in how my skin feels. Giving your skin the nutrients it needs instantly helps to bring your skin back to life.

The last step of skincare is moisturiser. My personal favourite is the Yes to Tomatoes Daily Balancing Moisturiser. I find it gives the perfect amount of moisture to my skin without making it look or feel greasy. Definitely an essential, pre makeup step for everyday.

Makeup

First up, primer! The L'oreal Lumi Magique primer is definitely a must for a natural glow.  It sits beautifully under foundation and gives you that glow from within look that we are dying to have.

A dewy foundation also helps to give you the most amount of glow possible. One of my favourites is the L'oreal Lumi Cushion. A fairly new addition to my collection but all the same a beautiful, buildable, flawless and dewy foundation that will give you that radiant complexion all day, everyday. Need I say more??

Last but certainly not least, HIGHLIGHTER. One of my favourite makeup products overall and one I cannot leave out of my routine at any cost. A few of my favourites are Mac Soft&Gentle - which is slightly more pink toned but is beautiful for an everyday, natural glow or The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer which, I can honestly say is my all time favourite highlighter and gives you either a soft champagne glow or absolutely popping cheekbones depending on how you apply it.
